About P247

P247 is a performance analyst for serious event athletes. Hyrox competitors, Ironman triathletes, marathon runners, and cyclists who train with data but don’t have a coaching team behind them.

Most athletes have the data. Garmin, Whoop, Apple Health, Strava, MyFitnessPal. What they don’t have is someone to synthesise it and tell them what it actually means for today’s session.

P247 does that. Every morning, before your session, you receive a brief that cross-references your recovery, training load, nutrition, and adaptation trend. It tells you what your body is actually saying.

Not a dashboard. Not a generic AI coach. A performance analyst.


The Problem

Every serious athlete knows this routine. Wake up. Check your watch for last night’s sleep score. Open Strava to review yesterday’s training load. Glance at your nutrition tracker. Maybe check your body composition app. Then try to piece it all together in your head before the session starts.

Four apps. Four different numbers. Zero connection between them. Your Garmin doesn’t know what your body composition scan said. Your recovery tracker doesn’t care about your training volume trend. Your nutrition app has no idea you slept four hours.

The data is there. The analysis isn’t.

Professional athletes have performance teams who do this synthesis for them. They have someone whose entire job is to look across every data point and say “here’s what your body is telling us today.” Most of us don’t have that. We just guess.


Why I Built This

I’m Myles, 52, train six days a week, and preparing for Partner Hyrox with my wife and a half marathon later in the year.

My day job is in observability engineering. I help organisations make sense of complex data systems. Metrics, logs, traces, dashboards. Turning noise into signal. That’s what I do professionally.

So when I looked at my own training data and realised I was doing exactly what every athlete does (opening multiple apps, eyeballing numbers, guessing whether to push or pull back) it struck me that this was the same problem I solve at work, just in a different domain.

At 52, recovery matters more than effort. The margin between progress and injury gets thinner every year. I’ve been rehabbing both knees this year with my physio while still training six days a week. That only works when you combine good professional guidance with actually listening to your data, not just collecting it. Knowing when to push and when to back off isn’t a feeling. It’s a pattern in the numbers, if you know where to look.

I built P247 because I needed it. Now I’m building it for every athlete who trains seriously but doesn’t have a performance team behind them.

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We don’t sell it, we don’t use it to train AI models, and we don’t share it with advertisers. You can export or delete everything at any time.
