FAQ & User Guides

Everything you need to understand P247, the weekly performance report, and how it turns wearable data into better training decisions.

Getting Started

What is P247?

P247 is the decision layer for athletes who train with intent. It connects data from Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Strava, Apple Health and your training context, then turns it into a weekly performance report with one clear call on what to change next.

The point is simple: you already have the data. P247 tells you what to do next.

Who is P247 for?

P247 is for athletes who train seriously but do not have a full performance team reviewing their week. That includes HYROX competitors, marathon and half marathon runners, triathletes, Ironman athletes, cyclists, ultra athletes, hybrid athletes and masters athletes.

It is also useful for GLP-1 users who need to protect muscle, fuel training properly and track body composition while weight changes.

What devices and apps does P247 work with?

P247 is designed around the data athletes already use: Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, COROS, Apple Watch, Strava, Apple Health, Athlytic, Bevel, Runna, Alma, TrainingPeaks and similar training tools.

For early access, the first priority is Apple Health and Strava because they already collect a lot of the needed training, sleep and recovery data. Manual upload or pasted summaries may also be used for early reports while direct integrations expand.

How do I sign up?

P247 is currently in early access. Join the waitlist on our homepage and you will be among the first to get access when we open up.

Weekly Performance Report

What is in the weekly performance report?

The weekly report shows the main decision for next week, the reason behind it, what improved, what worsened, training load, recovery trend, nutrition risk, event readiness, data gaps and three clear actions for the next week.

It is written like a coach briefing, not a dashboard. Decision first. Reason second. Actions third.

Why weekly instead of daily?

Daily scores are noisy. One bad night or one green recovery score can mislead you. A weekly report gives better context because it can compare load, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, nutrition, intensity and consistency across the full training week.

P247 can still support daily context later, but the first product promise is the weekly performance report.

What decisions does P247 make?

P247 can recommend whether to build, hold, pull back, add intensity, protect recovery, improve fuelling, reduce load, shift a session or watch a specific event readiness risk.

The report should explain why the decision was made so you are not left guessing.

Does P247 replace my coach or training plan?

No. P247 is not trying to replace your coach, your watch or your training plan. It helps you interpret the week and make better adjustments. If you already have a coach, P247 gives you a cleaner report to discuss with them.

Does the report learn from what happened last time?

That is the long term goal. P247 should become your performance memory. It should remember decisions, outcomes, recurring patterns, injury signals, tolerance and what worked last time.

Over time, that makes the advice more personal and less generic.

Events and Training Context

How does P247 handle different events?

P247 reads the week against the demands of your event. A HYROX athlete needs different guidance from a marathon runner, Ironman athlete, cyclist or ultra runner.

Event readiness checks can include compromised running, strength endurance, grip fatigue, sled work, long run durability, bike load, swim bike run balance, heat, fuelling and recovery debt.

Can P247 support HYROX training?

Yes. HYROX is one of the core early markets. P247 can help connect running, strength endurance, lower body fatigue, grip load, wall ball tolerance, knee stress and recovery trend across the week.

Can runners, cyclists and triathletes use it?

Yes. P247 is built for endurance athletes who already track a lot of data but still need a clearer decision. Marathon, half marathon, Ironman, triathlon, cycling and ultra training all create load and recovery patterns that need weekly context.

Data & Integrations

What data does P247 use?

P247 can use recovery metrics such as HRV and resting heart rate, sleep duration and quality, workouts, training load, intensity, pace, power, heart rate, body composition, nutrition, hydration, event goals and notes about injury, stress or travel.

The report should also show data gaps. If nutrition is too patchy to trust, P247 should say that plainly.

Do I need perfect data?

No. Perfect data is not required. P247 should work with what you have and flag what it cannot see clearly.

Better data gives better reports, but missing data should not block useful weekly guidance.

How does Strava connect work?

P247 connects to Strava via OAuth. You authorise the connection once, and P247 can pull your activity data automatically. Your Strava credentials are never stored by P247.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No, not necessarily. Apple Health is useful because many devices and apps can write data into it. If you use Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, COROS or another device that syncs into Apple Health, P247 can use that data path where available.

Direct integrations will expand over time.

Body Composition & GLP-1

Can P247 help while using GLP-1 medication?

Yes. GLP-1 medications can reduce weight, but the real question is whether you are losing fat or muscle and whether training is still being fuelled properly.

P247 can track body composition, protein intake, training load and recovery so the focus stays on performance and muscle retention, not just scale weight.

What body composition data does P247 support?

InBody scan results, DEXA data and smart scale measurements can all be useful. If it records weight, body fat and muscle mass, P247 can use it as part of the weekly picture.

Privacy and Safety

Is my data private?

Yes. Your health, training and coaching data is private to you. P247 should not sell your data, share it with advertisers or use it to train public AI models.

Is P247 medical advice?

No. P247 provides training and performance guidance based on your data. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. For injury, illness, medication or medical concerns, speak to a qualified health professional.
